Army arrest undercover orange-seller with N600milliom in his account
The General Officer Commanding (GOC), 1 Division Nigerian Army,
Kaduna, Major-General Garba Wahab, at the weekend said the media
should not eulogize criminals as the Division has arrested a suspected
orange seller who spied for terrorists and over N600 million was found
in his bank account within three months.
The GOC, whose area of command covers the north-western states, while
fielding questions from newsmen in Kaduna relating to why the Army is
carrying out general search without discrimination, said, "When we
stop those who are hawking and carrying wheelbarrow, and we said we
want to check, people will shout, 'Why are you disturbing the average
person?' And I give you example; we arrested somebody here called mai
lemu (orange seller) in Kawo here. And in three months when we checked
through his account, over 600 million naira has passed through that
man's account, and he sells orange here by Kawo bridge.
"He is there as a lookout. He is like a spy. He looks around, gets
information and feeds these guys, says this is what is happening. That
is why I said we are not dealing with idiots. We are dealing with
people who have one or two guys working and thinking, and giving them
information. And we know that before they attack they must look at the
softest locations."
Wahab added that it is a criminality that the media and society must
cooperate and ensure that it is brought to an end.
On Thursday's attacks in Daura, he explained that military personnel
adhered to the principles of rules of engagement, saying, "I called
this press conference to fill the gap on the attack that occurred in
Daura, Katsina state. We don't want a situation where people will be
speculating. Yes, the criminals came, they bombed vehicles, and they
packed money using improvised explosive devices (IEDs) to bomb
everywhere. Nobody will give an instruction for an innocent life to be
lost, so in whatever we do, we keep to the rules of engagement given
to us and that is why I have called the media to lend us their support
because when a few reports go out, it's like it is encouraging the
criminals and they start to think they have the upper hand."
Meanwhile, the presidency yesterday offered amnesty to any Boko Haram
member who surrenders, as it wages war on the insurgents in Borno,
Yobe and Adamawa, where state of emergency was declared last Tuesday.
Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Dr. Rueben
Abati, revealed this yesterday while talking to Reuters, a foreign
news agency, on telephone.
He said: "Mr President has urged Boko Haram members to surrender their
arms and embrace the amnesty option which is still open as the
committee is working on the option of dialogue for a peaceful
resolution."

condiments, such as salt? I just watched it; so mediocre it made me
sad. hiss!"

Actress Chioma Chukwuka Akpotha: “Why I Married My Husband Secretly”
Chioma Chukwuka Akpotha is one of the popular Nigerian actresses, who
has done quite well for herself in the industry since she joined in
2000. With over 50 movie roles to her credit in the last 13 years, the
actress recently joined the world of producers with her debut flick,
On Bended Knees. She spoke to Movie Moments' Mutiat Alli on her life,
people's perception of her been arrogant and her hubby.
How do you feel as a new entrant into the world of production?
I can't really explain how I feel because this a dream I have nurtured
for so long and seeing it come to reality is just like a dream come
true to me and perhaps the reception has been immeasurable considering
the fact that it is my first major production as a producer.
What actually prompted your decision to turn producer over night?
I want to correct that impression of me turning into a producer over
night simply because I have been in the industry for quite an age now
and for me to produce a movie of my own is just to let the world
understand the fact that even been an actress; I can as well turn out
to be fantastic producer and that has been my dream for a very long
time.
On Bended Knees is directed by good hands; what formed your choice of selection?
I feel they both understood what I was looking out for in the
production of the movie; so having Emem Isong and Lancelot Imasuen as
my directors is the greatest thing that happened to me because they
both believed in my dream. Even at the time of giving up on the
production; they were both there to encourage me and at the end of it
all I was able to have a fantastic movie.
What is the movie all about?
On Bended Knees is a movie very dear to my heart. It's a captivating
story of a young and vibrant man who relegated his duties as a husband
and the man of the house to the background. His wife, ignored and
lonely, finds comfort in the company of her boss. It is discovered
that the wife is having an affair with her boss and things take a new
twist. This story happens every day even in the midst of the
"seemingly" perfect relationships. It's a movie every home should have
and watch.
Considering when you started in the industry; what is your view on the
standard of movies been produced in Nigeria presently?
Well professionally, I started acting in 2000 and there is a far
difference between the kind of films produced now and back in the
days; I can authoritatively say it loud and clear that the Nigerian
movie industry has been impressive considering the kind of equipments
we now use in shooting our movies. Also, we have been able to meet up
with international standard. I believe the sky is our starting point
and definitely not our limit.
You have managed and maintain an almost scandal free reputation; how
have you been able to manage this?
I feel it has been the grace of God because we all are not created
perfect and as such we just manage to be our self and be of the best
behavior. I just feel being an actor opens you up to controversies,
scandals and all that. Maybe I've just been lucky.
You turned 33 just last month. Looking ahead, what do you hope to have
achieved by your next birthday?
I hope that by my next birthday, I would have done another movie and
grown from this level. There is no stagnancy in the industry. If you
don't see an actor for a period of time in movies, it doesn't mean
they are not doing something. Some are directing, some are producing,
some are rebranding. There is no dry moment. For me, I want to move to
another level by my next birthday.
As a married woman, what has marriage taught you?
I have learnt a lot from been a married woman because it only take the
Grace of God for two people who are completely different to stay
together for the rest of their lives. One major thing I have learnt is
patience and perseverance. One needs to tolerate one another. I and
my husband not just see ourselves as been married; we are also
friends.
Much has not been said about your husband; how will you describe him
and why haven't we been seeing you two together?
I have got the best husband as a friend and the father of my children;
he is loving, caring and has been supportive of my career and for not
seeing him around me; it's our mutual agreement to make our marriage
private. We are happy and our source of joy been our children.
What is that one impression that people have about you and you would
like to correct?
Definitely it's going to be on this issue of me been arrogant which I
know I am not; I strongly believe in the saying that you don't judge a
book by its cover. I guess people of that impression are people who
don't know me or aren't closer to me. I am not arrogant.

Laide Bakare’s Ex-Husband Wants DNA Test For Daughter “She Dumps Her Baby In America For 8 Months In Order To Sleep Around”
Few days after a lengthy Press released by popular Nollywood actress
Laide Bakare, her supposed ex-husband, Mr Olumide Okunfulure has
spoken up.
This came after the actress made her intention to marry a Lagos-based
businessman identified as Tunde Oriowo who recently lavished the
actress with a Range Rover taken from another actress (Bisi Ibidapo
Obe) and a house.
To cut the long story short, Laide Bakare's estranged husband who is
based in Washington, DC spoke with Encoumium magazine about the
wayward lifestyle of the actress Laide Bakare who is in the habit of
sleeping with different men.
Interview excerpt below
Your wife, laide released a statement that she dumped you for another
businessman, Mr. Tunde Oriowo because she realised that you were
legally married to another wife who had given you two children, not
actually single as you told her when the relationship started?
How could I have married two women legally in Nigeria?
I should be in Jail by now because there is a law that condemns such
an act. How come she has not gone to court instead of media for
separation? Separation can only come through the court.
American government gave Laide Green card because she is legally
married to me, we had a court marriage in Nigeria also. When she was
supposed to be a faithful wife, she would leave her matrimonial home
to stay with married men in Lagos, all in the name of being actress or
career lady.
I couldn't monitor her because I am not always in Nigeria. In fact,
there was a time she left our baby, Similoluwa with me for eight
months in America in the name of career lady, i had become a nursing
father. I have been trying to manage my home the way i could.
Are you Insinuating she cheated on you?
Yes, Of course! She did both in the past and now, all in the name of
being career woman.
If she is cheating on you both in the past and now, can you be sure of
your child's paternity?
I have made up my mind that my doctor should begin the process of DNA
of our daughter to know who is the father, whether Mr. Tunde Oriowo or
myself.
As we speak, she brought Similoluwa back to Nigeria illegally and as
we speak, the child is under her mother's care.

mourners when they noticed the dead man twitching his legs
A mourner identified as Lot Gaka, the employer of the deceased said:

gathered at my house to mourn but I was given another chance and I am
alive. I feel OK now."
Whaooo what a miracle… What could have happened if they had buried him
the same day he died.

Angry American Beats Up Muslim Taxi Driver Over Boston Bombing
Somalian-born Muslim cab driver Mohamed A. Salim picked up Ed Dahlberg
of Clifton, Virginia outside a Fairfax country club last Friday at
around 2 a.m. When Dahlberg attempted to bring a beer into the cab
with him, Salim told him this was against the rules and he had to
finish the drink outside before entering.
Dahlberg then asked Salim where he was from and whether or not he was
a Muslim. After Salim answered his questions, Dahlberg asked Salim
what he thought about the concept of "jihad."…..
Sensing that the conversation could quickly turn into a flagrant
expression of racial discrimination, Salim began recording the
exchange with his phone.
"On the video, a middle-aged businessman can be heard asking Salim if
he is Islamic and then asserting that most Muslims are terrorists. He
says the Koran directs Muslims to kill nonbelievers and then
repeatedly and loudly demands that Salim denounce the Sept. 11, 2001,
attackers. When Salim asks if the passenger is threatening him, the
passenger uses an obscene phrase to respond in the affirmative.
'If you're a Muslim, you're a [expletive] jihadist," the passenger
says. "You are just as bad as the rest of them.' "
Salim made it clear that he had a huge problem with this statement and
that just made his belligerent customer even more hostile. Dahlberg
leaped forward and began punching Salim in the face, breaking his jaw.
Salim stopped recording to call the police. Dahlberg repeatedly
referenced the Boston bombing as to why he had become so angry to find
out the driver was Muslim.
Police quickly arrived and arrested Dahlberg, who was charged with a
misdemeanor.
Aside from a broken jaw, Salim says he has also lost partial vision
and hearing from the assault. A married father of four, Salim is a
U.S. Army Reserve veteran of the Iraq war who has worked in military
intelligence and as a linguist.
The Washington-based Council on American-Islamic Relations is asking
Virginia prosecutors to treat Dahlberg's actions as a hate crime.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West relationship heading for a split? Pals fear for Kim Kardashian's relationship
Kim Kardashian's friends are reportedly worried about the future of
her relationship with Kanye West because he allegedly treats her like
his assistant.
The 35-year-old 'Otis' rapper has been accused of treating the
32-year-old reality TV star, who is set to give birth to their first
child in early July, like his assistant and insiders think she will
get fed up of his behaviour towards her soon rather than later.
A friend close to the Kardashian family told gossip website KRSonline:
"The only way they have a future is if Kim continues to do whatever he
says."
Kim has flown to Paris several times during her pregnancy to visit
Kanye, who has been recording his new album there for the past few
months, and friends are furious that he has not made more of an effort
to be by her side.
The insider said: "We just do not understand why she is travelling to
Paris to see him. She is the pregnant one. Kanye will fly in to see
the editors of Vogue but he won't fly in to see the lady carrying his
child.
"Some of the greatest records that have ever been recorded have been
recorded in America. I am sorry that the US recording studio's are not
good enough for Kanye - they were good enough for Elvis, Sinatra and
Michael Jackson, but not Kanye!"
Kanye, 35, lashed out at photographers over the weekend after he
accidentally walked into a sign post and hurt his head while house
hunting with Kim in Los Angeles.
The source claims he also took his embarrassment out on his girlfriend
of more than one year, saying: "He told her that she should have
guided him out of the way. He treats her like his assistant. She is
putting up with it at the moment but eventually she will say enough!"
The 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star recently revealed that she
has been travelling abroad a lot because she has to stop flying soon
ahead of her baby's arrival.
She wrote on her blog earlier this month: "I have to stop travelling
very soon, so I want to make all my stops before I can't travel
anymore."

Kanye West's Lambo -- Scratched Up ... Like Its Owner
Kanye West's pricey sports car is like his forehead ... banged up.
The full extent of the damage to Kanye's $750,000 Lamborghini

On Tuesday, Kanye's Lambo was being delivered to Kim Kardashian's home

Roberto Mancini Sacked As Manchester City Manager (Official Club Statement)
After over 3 and half years as the manager of Manchester City Football
club , Roberto Mancini has been sacked from the club.
According to the official statement from the club, Mancini was fired
because had failed to achieve any of the club's targets, with the
exception of qualification for next season's Champions League.
Read the official statement from the club below;
It is with regret that Manchester City Football Club announces that
Roberto Mancini has been relieved of his duties as Manchester City
Manager.
This has been a difficult decision for the owner, Chairman and Board
to make and it is the outcome of a planned end of season review
process that has been brought forward in light of recent speculation
and out of respect for Roberto and his extensive contributions to the
Football Club.
Despite everyone's best efforts, the Club has failed to achieve any of
its stated targets this year, with the exception of qualification for
next season's UEFA Champions League. This, combined with an identified
need to develop a holistic approach to all aspects of football at the
Club, has meant that the decision has been taken to find a new manager
for the 2013/14 season and beyond.
Chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak said: "Roberto's record speaks for itself
and he has the respect and gratitude of Sheikh Mansour, myself and the
Board for all of his hard work and commitment over the last three and
a half years. He has clearly also secured the love and respect of our
fans. He has done as he promised and delivered silverware and success,
breaking the Club's 35-year trophy drought and securing the title in
2012. I would like to personally and publicly thank him for his
dedication to the progress that he has overseen and for his support
and continued friendship."
Assistant Manager Brian Kidd will take interim responsibility for the
remaining two games of the season and the post-season tour to the
United States.

Pregnant Indian commits suicide 'live' on webcam
The Indian community in Bahrain is appalled after a
five-month-pregnant woman hailing from Tamil Nadu reportedly committed
suicide in Manama, recording her last moments on a web camera and
informing her husband that she is going to end her life.
English and vernacular newspapers from the island nation have reported
that Seetha Laxmi (28), an Indian hailing from Salem in Tamil Nadu,
was found hanging from her apartment in Gudaiba area near Al Osra,
Manama, the capital of Bahrain.
The suicide victim was reportedly five months pregnant when she ended her life.
According to reports, the young lady used to work as a beautician, and
recorded her suicide on a webcam on her laptop. The webcam video was
in recording mode while she hanged herself from the ceiling fan,
reports state.
On Monday morning at around 10am, the lady tried to call her husband,
Vinod, who works for a construction company in Bahrain, and when she
could not reach him on the phone, she called the beauty salon located
in a three-star hotel where she used to work and informed her
colleagues that she is going to end her life.
"The suicide has been apparently recorded on the camera connected to a
computer kept in the room. After the salon staff alerted her husband
about the strange phone call from his wife, he rushed to the flat and
found her hanging from the fan ceiling. Last year, a suicide by an
Indian worker, in a public park caused a heated debate about the
suicide issue affecting the Indian community. The number of suicides
has been going up in Bahrain. There are many cases reported in the
media and this pregnant lady's suicide has caused panic in the
community. The worst part is that she has recorded her death on a web
camera," said Shyam Kumar, an Indian executive in Manama.
She came to Manama about a year ago. Bahrain Daily Tribune reported
that the dead body will be flown to India and an autopsy will be done
there. 24PM Newspaper from Manama said quoting her husband that he
called his wife after leaving home and when she did not pick up her
call, he rushed home to find her hanging from the ceiling fan.
She had recorded her messages to her husband, whom she reported loved
too much, but could not return his love, according to writings on the
room call. The Bahrain police have seized the laptop that recorded her
suicide and the room where the incident happened.
The family shared a flat with another Indian family, according to 24PM
Malayalam news. Seetha Laxmi hails from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu and the
family sharing the room is quoted as saying that the husband was
taking care of the pregnant woman. The door was locked from inside and
had to be broke open.
Bahrain's Indian community has been baffled by a spate of suicides and
various community associations have been campaigning against the evil
that affected many middle class and working class expatriates. Indian
Ambassador to Bahrain, Balakrishna Shetty, was quote d as saying that
the number of Indians committing suicide in Bahrain has been on the
rise and that it was a matter of concern to the Indian mission there.
The Ambassador was quoted by the Gulf Daily News as saying earlier
that: "It is a matter of some concern and we need to handle it and not

Fake Nigerian Pastors Jailed In Lagos For Duping Church Members In N1 Billion Deposit Scam
A Nigerian High Court has sentenced two 'men of God', Pastor Glory
Abrefera and Reverend Vincent Okpogo to 10 years imprisonment each
over a N1 billion deposit scam.
Justice Ibrahim Buba of the Federal High Court in Asaba, capital of
Delta state, found the duo and their company, Mustard Seed Micro
Investment Limited guilty on a four count charge of carrying out
banking practice without licence.
The accused persons were said to have collected over N1 billion from
different individuals and organizations as deposits in an illegal
banking practice.
They have also failed to account for all the deposits they collected.
Mustard Seed Micro Investment Limited was convicted on two counts and
fined N2 million on each of the counts. Pastor Abrefera and Reverend
Okpogo, both directors of Mustard Seed Micro Investment limited, were
also convicted on two counts and sentenced to 10 years imprisonment
each.
They were equally fined N2 million on each of the counts.
The terms are to run concurrently.
The accused persons were said to have sometimes between 2006 and 2007
at Warri, Delta State engaged in banking practice without the required
banking license and thereby committed an offence contrary to section
2(2) of the Banks and Other Financial Institutions Act, Cap B3, Vol 2,
Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004.
Part of the charge reads: "that Pastor Glory Okeoghene Abrefera,
Reverend Vincent Okpogo and Mrs Nonye Abrefera (still at large) whilst
being directors of Mustard Seed Micro Investment Limited sometime
between 2006 and 2007 at Warri, Delta State within the jurisdiction of
the Federal High Court knowingly consented to the carrying on of
banking business without a valid licence by the company thereby
committed an offence contrary to Section (2) and 49(1)of the Banks and
other Financial Institutions Act Cap B(3), Vol 2, laws of the
Federation of Nigeria 2004".
The so-called men of God were arrested following a petition filed by
some of the depositors to the EFCC, detailing the dubious activities
of the accused persons.
The EFCC subsequently intervened, investigated the activities of the
voodoo bank and arraigned the suspects in 2011.
Counsel to EFCC, G. K. Latona described the judgment as a milestone in
the Nigerian judiciary.
He said it was the first time that persons were convicted for carrying
out banking practice without the required licence.
He said the judgment would serve as a deterrent to other persons
engaging in such nefarious activities

“I decided to retire last Christmas” – Sir Alex Ferguson
Retiring Manchester United manager, Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed
that he made the decision to quit football at Christmas.
The 71-year-old took charge of his last game at Old Trafford – a 2-1
win over Swansea City – and will be stepping down at the end of the
season, after making the announcement public last week.
The Scot who has been at the club for over 26 years, admitted that he
struggled to keep the news under wraps, after he first disclosed it to
his family.
"Probably last Christmas," he told Sky Sports after he was asked when
he decided to retire. "Basically, things changed when Cathy's [his
wife] sister died.
"She's isolated a lot now and I think I owe her a lot of my own time.
For 47 years she's been the leader of the family, looked after our
three sons, sacrificed for me, and now she's got all her
grandchildren: they all dote on her, and I think you know, she's lost
her best friend, her sister Bridget, and I think I owe her my own
time.
"That was important. Also, to go out a winner, that is really
important at this club. That's the most important thing I ever wanted
to do here, to be a winner.
"It was very difficult. Sometimes I nearly blurted it out to the
family. We told our sons around about March. My brother didn't even
know until about Tuesday night, because I wanted to tell the players
first really, the players and my staff.
"But unfortunately those rumours came out – where they come from, you
never know. This club's like a sieve. Stuff leaks out that shouldn't
leak out, so we started to speed it up a bit."

The beginning
I started as a dancer, with the same name; May D. May D is actually
from the name, Mayokun Dumila – May D. There is this usual hurdle
associated with any new venture one embarks on. We all went through
the same hustle, and we still "dey try"
I started out as a dancer in my secondary school, Kings' College,
Lagos. When I got into the University, Unilag, I started music
professionally and even though it was tough because I was in a group
facing different challenges, I persevered. There were ups and downs ,
but after several years, things took shape and here I am today, by
God's grace.
Inspiration
I take everything around me as a source of inspiration in making
music. Life is art, and if you know life, you can make several lyrics
out of it. Everything seen, touched, and taste should inspire one. I'm
always inspired by what I see.
The walk, the dance
Those majestic and flexible walk in most of my videos, especially the
twisting of fingers and the leg dance were all learnt in the past,
while I was doing dance. Like I said, I started out as a dancer back
in my secondary school days, and with all humility, I'll say I was
pretty good at it. So, in a way, that's just me bringing to the fore
what I have always been good at doing.
Music
I will categorize my type of music as pop/R&b. At the moment, I have a
number of singles. I had my first singles, ''Cool Temper'' and
''Soundtrack' in 2011 to an appreciative level of positive reviews
from the industry insiders.
Later that year, I featured on Psquare`s Invasion Album, collaborating

In early 2012, I released my second singles 'Ile Ijo', 'Gat Me High',
and 'You Want 2 Know Me', which featured PSquare.
In October 2012, I started my own label, Confam Entertainment and
subsequently released 'Use Me' and the video for 'Gat Me High' to rave
reviews.
In February 2013, I released 'So Many Tinz', which is the official
last single before the release of my album.
Square records
My relationship with Peter and Paul is still very cordial. We owe
nothing against each other. It was only time for me to just be on my
own. I saw that it was time to begin to direct my own ship; aside
that, nothing personal.
The Industry
The industry is very big at the moment, and highly competitive. One
has to be above board by churning out creative stuff to measure up to
standard. I have just started, and we have to just take it to another
level.
Abuja Album Launch
The Abuja Album Launch will be my maiden album concert and we plan to
give Abuja a night to remember. I expect the people of Abuja to show
the usual love they have always shown towards me. It's my second home
-you know. The official launch holds on May 26 at the Thisday Dome,
Abuja. I just expect the usual love from Abuja people. I shall be
having other big names in the industry performing with me. 2Face,
Davido, Iyanya, Olamide,K-Switch, Reminisce, Gandoki, Klint Da drunk,
Emma Nyra and a host of others will join me at the concert.
Advice
My advice is directed to all aspiring musicians. They should
understand that life is practically an Ecosystem. To survive, you must
keep struggling. Keep doing your thing until it's your time. You can
do it. It's your dream and no one else's. Keep the positive dreams
glowing and work towards it. Don't sit down there, thinking that your
dream will come to you; you can only go to your dream. If May D,
Iyanya, 2Face and others can make it, then you have no doubt. All the
best.

All the
best.
“Don’t ever let yourselves down, the expectation is always there” – Full text of Ferguson’s goodbye speech
Sir Alex Ferguson took charge of his 1,499th match today – his last
home game before he retires. Rio Ferdinand smashed in the winner,
after Michu had cancelled out Chicharito's first-half. After the game,
the 71-year-old delivered the speech below:
I have absolutely no script in my mind. I'm just going to ramble on
and hope I get to the core of what this football club means.
This is a thank you to Manchester United. Not just the directors, not
just the medical staff, the coaching staff, the players and
supporters. It's all of you. This has been the most fantastic
experience of my life. Thank you.
I have been very fortunate that I've been able to manage to some of
the greatest players in the country, let alone Manchester United. And
all these players today have represented this club the proper way.
They won the championship in fantastic fashion. Well done to the
players.
My retirement does mean the end of my life with the club. I'll now be
able to enjoy watching them, rather than suffer with them. But, if you
think about it, those last-minute goals, the comebacks, even the
defeats are all part of this great football club of ours … so thank
you for that.
I'd also like to remind you that when we had bad times at the club,
all the staff stood by me, all the players stood by me. Your [the
supporters] job now is to stand by your new manager.
Before I start blubbing, I just want to speak to Paul Scholes, who
retires today. He is unbelievable. One of the greatest players we've
ever had and ever will ever.
I also want to wish Darren Fletcher a speedy recovery and return to the club.
I wish the players every success in the future You know how good you
are, you know the jersey you're wearing and you know what it means to
everyone here [at Old Trafford]. Don't ever let yourselves down. The
expectation is always there

Gorgeous model injects cooking oil in face
A plastic surgery addict injected cooking oil into her face when
doctors refused to give her any more silicone.
Former model Hang Mioku has been left permanently disfigured following
the DIY beauty treatment.
After injecting an entire bottle of black market silicone into her
face, Hang resorted to using cooking oil that left her face severely
swollen and scarred.
Her plights was featured on Korean television and viewers donated
thousands of pounds to pay for corrective surgery.
During the first of 10 operations, surgeons removed 60g of silicone,
oil and other foreign substances from her face and 200g from her neck.
However, Hang is still disfigured and she said she wishes she could
have her old face back.
Hang had her first procedure aged 28 and then moved to Japan where she
had repeated treatments.
She quickly became obsessed with having smoother and softer skin.
Doctors eventually refused to carry out any more work on her after her
face became noticeably enlarged.
However, she managed to get hold of a bottle of silicone and a syringe
to self-inject but when that ran out she resorted to use cooking oil.
Her face was so altered that her own parents did not recognise her and
local children also used to call her 'standing fan' because her face
was so large compared to her small body.
Numerous operations paid for by donations have managed to reduce the
size of her face and neck but she is still significantly disfigured.
Recently the former model was working in a recycled clothes shop,
called The Beautiful Shop, and receiving handouts from the state.
